Benjamin's View of the World

Everyone says that being a child is the best. No responsiblity. However, perhaps adults tend to forget what a child view of the world is. Well Granny let Benjamin take a few pictures with her carmera, and this is what he sees.

4 year check up

Benjamin had his 4 year old check up yesterday. When I told him that we were going to the Doctor, he started saying he didn't want to go get shots, they hurt him. He got 4 shots. The doctor asked questions about his development, like does he know his colors, is he potty trained. This whole time Benjamin was talking to me and to himself. Then the doctor got to the question about about speech. When he was 2 the doctor asked if he could put together 3 word sentences, at 3 he asked if he used 5-6 word sentences. I don't know what the question is for 4 year olds. The doctor simply said, "Well, I see we have no problem communication. We can skip these." and he went on to the next question.

4 Years Old Today

I can't believe it...Benjamin is 4 today. He had his check up and got 4 shots. He did really good and screamed really loud like nurse Tony told him to. He's had a big day. We went out to breakfast with Granny. Then we went to the dollar store and got stuff for goodie bags for Sunday School tomorrow. He loves all his toys. He got a desk and dump truck from Granny and Papa. Kris and the kids got him sand toys (for the beach and he's getting a sand box for Valentine's Day.) Right now Austin and him are using all the toys on Granny's rocks. Her yard guy is going to wonder why there are holes and piles in the rocks. And mommy got him an educational toy and Diego dominoes. But those sand toys and dump truck are the best. Mommy should have put her name on the sand toys and the kids on the educational toy. We were going to go to a move, but the boys would rather stay and play. Mommy did get the best card. It's as big as a book and sings "I like to move it, move it" from Madagascar. My camera was having issues today, so I didn't get very good pictures, but here they are.
